Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage purchasing strategies for alcoholic beverages across multiple brands.
2. Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
3. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
4. Monitor global and local market trends related to alcoholic beverages and adjust purchasing strategies as necessary.
5. Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best terms and conditions.
6. Oversee and manage the inventory of alcoholic beverages, ensuring optimal stock levels.
7. Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to forecast demand.
8. Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims.
9. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to purchasing.
10. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws related to alcoholic beverage purchasing.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the alcoholic beverage industry.
3. Strong negotiation skills.
4. Ability to analyze market data and trends.
5. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to alcoholic beverage purchasing.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
